Bugsy's Bug is a non-equippable item used in both the Fission Mailed and Special Star's Heroic Deed quests.

- As used here, a "bug" is a covert listening device (or in this case recording device), also known as a "wire." The NPC in the game named Bugsy is identified as an entomologist (he studies insects), a completely different kind of "bug."
- Prior to Open Server Event 10, since that Fission Mailed could not be completed, and the item cannot be sold, it permanently claimed one of the player's inventory slots unless they can trade it away.
