"This quest is one of the five playable quests that were available during the second Legends of Equestria stress test. In this quest you must fetch some dandelions for the NPC, Maplesweet, in return for a swanky hoof crafted Dandelion Bracelet." ~ KillerJH2

Dandelion Tamer is a quest obtained from NPC Maplesweet, who is located in the Ponydale Town Square, across from the Town Hall. A customer has asked her for dandelions, which is apparently odd for the floral shop to have since they are so easily collected.

Maplesweet (Initiating Quest)Edit

"Oh, hello. You look like a capable pony. Could I perhaps trouble you with a little errand? It won't be too difficult but, um, I understand if you're busy."

(Response: What do you need?)

"Oh, thank you. I had an odd request from a customer earlier today which I told them I'd look into, but unfortunately I can't leave the shop. They asked for dandelions, which are easy enough to find. I just don't normally keep them around because most ponies don't buy them. If you could find, say, 7 dandelions, I would certainly repay you."

(Response: Where should I look?)

"Dandelions grow all over the place, but your best bet is to try looking for Dancer. He's a forest ranger. He's bound to have seen a few. When you find seven, come back and give them to me. I'll be here."

(Response: Got it.)

"Good luck, and thank you!"

Collecting DandelionsEdit

There are no dandelions to be picked up in Ponydale. The player must talk to Dancer for the dandelions instead, which he would reveal that he picked them all and will give the player seven dandelions.

While not an official part of the quest, dandelions may also be obtained from Flan in Cantermore.

Maplesweet (Concluding Quest)Edit

"Oh thank you! Here, take this for your troubles. And don't forget to stop by if you need anything I may have."

Maplesweet will give the character a Dandelion Bracelet item that can be equipped. In addition, 100 general XP will also be awarded to the character.

As of December, 2016, it also awards an equipment Water Bucket

  • During the August 8th Open Server Event, the quest was broken due to a script error when talking to Maplesweet. It has since been fixed.
