An earth pony is a playable race in Legends of Equestria, whose most notable trait is their special connection with animals. The starting town for earth ponies is Ponydale.

In-Game Description

"Earth ponies are hard workers and grow food for the rest of Equestria. They tend to have a way with animals and can control them better. All that hard work also means that earth ponies can carry more things and last longer in battle."

Abilities

Earth Ponies are known for delivering moderate to strong attacks with minimal energy cost. This makes enduring long battles useful. At Fiesta Equestria, the LoE development team unveiled the "Smash" ability (Now named Ground Pound) for Earth Ponies, a short ranged attack where the earth pony stamps his or her forelegs onto the ground to deal moderate damage. During the third open server weekend, the Seismic Buck attack was incorporated as well. The fourth open server weekend saw the Rough Terrain attack being added into the game.

Ground Pound		Description	This is a basic short-ranged attack where the pony stamps his or her forelegs onto the ground to deal low damage. Despite the attack's low damage, it can be used several times in a row rather rapidly if the player keeps using it on their target.

Seismic Buck		Description	When using this ability, the earth pony will jump and spin around, bucking the target with their hind legs to deal damage before landing onto the ground.

Rough Terrain		Description	While in the player's range, The movement speed of multiple enemies can be slowed dramatically. The attack deals damage over time, accumulating to 70 damage if the enemy stays within the rough terrain for the full 10 seconds.

Passive abilities

Earth Ponies have the fastest walking, trotting and running speeds in-game, as well as having a larger inventory space than the other pony races. In addition, Earth ponies use up less energy when running, and are able to run continuously for up to 15 seconds, as compared to the other races' 9 seconds. In a recent interview, it was also revealed that only earth ponies can earn animal-based talent marks. These marks would then be able to unlock their pets' full potential. Earth Ponies have 125 Energy, which is higher than the 100 Energy of Pegasi and unicorns
